Exclusive arrangements for London House guests
don’t stop there
Like to shop? Who doesn’t? At London House, we think shopping should be fun. That’s why we’ve partnered with Island Companies, the largest duty-free retailer in the Cayman Islands, featuring everything from diamonds and jewellery, watches, designer sunglasses, Cuban cigars, and leather goods, to souvenirs, island-wear, treasure coins, crystal and more. Getting to one of its 28 stores in Grand Cayman is something you’ll want to do. That’s were we come in. Island Companies will pick you up right here at London House and take you shopping to the location most suited to your preferences. Not only that, a personal shopper will help guide you through the store upon your arrival. To arrange your shopping excursion, just contact the London House office.
Always Focused on Your Comfort and Pleasure
We’re remodeling again! Our Oceanfront and Oceanfront Deluxe units are getting spanking new bathrooms. In addition, throughout the complex, we are performing a facelift – some new bedspreads and valances, refinishing of sliding doors and some guest room mini blinds…all to ensure that your stay with us is second to none.
Our beach is so perfect for a wedding
That’s certainly what recent guests Caren Brown and John Studzinski from Lafayette, Colorado would say. They took their vows at London House on July 4, 2011. And they might also agree that the Caymans are indeed a friendly place as the wedding party of four was joined by numerous wellwishers – locals and tourists alike – for the ceremony.
Couples looking to tie the knot here can apply for a special licence, and marriages can be performed as soon as applications have been processed. Visit the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism for everything you need to know, along with links to local wedding service providers. Most importantly, DON’T FORGET TO ASK US ABOUT OUR SPECIAL RATES FOR MULTIPLE UNITS FOR YOUR WEDDING PARTY.

There are great local ingredients to try too, like Scotch bonnet peppers,
or
Cayman’s own Tortuga Hell-Fire Hot Pepper Sauce which is made from
those incredibly hot little devils in a vinegar base. Perhaps you’d care to
accompany your main dish with some boiled or roasted breadfruit, also grown
locally.
Whatever your fancy, if fish is on the menu, we ask you to consider choosing
sustainable seafood options as certified by the Cayman Sea Sense Team. It’s
easy to make informed and environmentally positive seafood choices by
downloading an information card at Cayman Sea Sense.
These cards also tell
you what local restaurants have good options, too.

And the wedding bells kept on ringing…
Meet Vanessa and Darren Gallant, another happy London House couple. Vanessa, who hails from the UK, and Darren, from Canada, met in the Cayman Islands. When we asked Vanessa why she chose London House as their picture-perfect wedding location, here is what she had to say: “The beach area is quieter than the main part of Seven Mile Beach and you do seem to get more beach area than any of the nearby condos. The hammocks and hammock area are a perfect place to escape the sun if you wish, there are plenty of sun loungers and, even when the complex is busy, it always seems so tranquil…all in all, a perfect setting. Of course, all the staff are very welcoming, accommodating and approachable. Thank you for being so kind and giving to me.”
What else made Vanessa and Darren select London House?
…and will keep on ringing!
For Sarah Morrocco and Steve Hardin [far right], London House was the ideal setting for getting engaged. Shown here with Sarah’s family, [left to right] brother Jeremy, dad Joe, sister Annalee and mom Joanne, the happy couple plan to tie the knot in September 2010. “We had an amazing time at London House over Easter,” says Sarah. “My mom, dad, brother and sister have been there quite a few times, but this was my first time, and oh, my, did I love it!” Perhaps we can coax them back to London House for the nuptials?
…and let’s not forget Sadique and Emily, who became engaged at London House in May!
and Bob and Laurie who renewed their vows here in October!

More Fun – and Learning – with Turtles
When Linda Phillips and friends visited London House last year,
they were unfazed by a storm the island experienced during their
stay – so much so that they even managed to rescue one of
our newest Caymanians – a baby turtle. “The assistant
manager at London House was very helpful in calling Turtle Rescue
and getting instructions for releasing the turtle,” says Linda,
who created a slideshow for her daughter's third grade class in Nederland, Texas. “The
children really enjoyed the lesson and got the message
that it is very important to help Mother Nature protect her
creatures.”

General Manager’s Message
“Prepare to be spoiled!” That’s the promise to visitors
from Dominique Daigle, General Manager.
“London House is very unique,”she says . “Few older properties
like this exist on the island, and none with the kind of intimacy and wide beachfront
that we have here. The minute you arrive at London House, it feels like an island-style
vacation.”
And a message to all of our previous guests from Dominique: “Keep
us in your memories. We’ll be here with open arms to welcome you
back!”
